Slipknot singer Corey Taylor has pimped up his current retro stage look a little. His wife explains how he did it.

Slipknot are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their band-titled debut album this year. This also includes the outfits and masks that are based on the early phase of the formation around 1999. Frontman Corey Taylor has now come up with something very special to make his scary look even cooler and spookier.

As can be seen in the photos embedded below on social media, the eye area in Taylor's mask with dreadlocks is currently glowing red. It looks particularly crazy when the stage is bathed in dark light. In Germany, the Maggots can enjoy this new look from Corey on December 6th, 8th and 9th, 2024 in Dortmund, Stuttgart and Leipzig.
aylor's wife Alicia also took the opportunity to post a selfie with glow-eyed Corey. A curious fan then asked the dancer whether her husband creates the red eyes by wearing glasses with lights on them under his mask. Alicia replied: "It's a clear, round plastic with red lights built into it. The plastic is placed on the inside of the eye opening of the mask. So you're close. Just imagine flexible plastic glasses."
