Dignified farewell

Paul's death was instantaneous and hopefully painless. May he rest in peace. This weekend a memorial show was held at Underworld Camden, attended by many of Paul's fans, friends, colleagues and family members. His musical colleagues bid their friend a fitting farewell with a musical set." As is well known, Paul Di'Anno (who was born on May 17, 1958 in Chingford in East London) sang with Iron Maiden from 1978 to 1981 and enhanced the band's debut album and second album KILLERS with his distinctive, scratchy voice.A few weeks before his death, Di'Anno's manager Stjepan Juras announced that from summer 2025 onwards he will "only and exclusively perform at selected festivals and at larger selected shows in theaters, arenas and venues that are fully equipped with ramps and can accommodate him as best as possible ." Before that, Paul had been struggling with his health for some time. After suffering from sepsis and a weakened immune system, the Brit recently performed exclusively in a wheelchair. In 2022, he also underwent knee surgery.
